About This Tour

Sierra Negra stands at 1,124 meters and boasts one of the largest volcanic craters in the world — an incredible 10 kilometers in diameter. The 16km round-trip hike along the crater rim offers jaw-dropping panoramic views that will leave you speechless.
From the rim, continue to Volcán Chico — a smaller volcanic formation with a surreal, Mars-like landscape of colorful lava flows. On clear days, you can see the islands of Santiago, Pinzón, and Fernandina in the distance.
This is a 100% hiking tour — no snorkeling, no boats — just you, the volcano, and some of the most spectacular scenery the Galapagos has to offer.
