    About This Tour

Join us on a marine wildlife journey to one of the most isolated corners of Galapagos! 🦈🌊

Pinzón Island — also called Duncan — has been separated from the rest of the archipelago by deep water for eons. It is an uninhabited 18 km² island of low thorny vegetation and volcanic rock, home to Darwin's finches, Galapagos doves, vermilion flycatchers, Galapagos snakes, its own lava lizard and its own giant tortoise.

Our first stop is Bahía La Fe, where you will snorkel with tropical fish, sea turtles and other marine species. We then take a short guided walk along a lava trail (subject to conditions and National Park authorization) before navigating to Pinzón Island.

Around noon we snorkel in the waters off Pinzón, where sea turtles, sea lions, whitetip reef sharks, rays and colorful schools of fish are common. After working up an appetite, we enjoy a hot lunch on board, followed by a traditional experiential fishing activity — subject to conditions and authorization — before heading back to Puerto Ayora around 3:30 PM.

A wetsuit is included and recommended: the sea drops below 20°C between September and December, and rises above 27°C between January and August.
