Overview

The tour starts early in the morning, you pick up a bus or car to take you to the starting point that is 30 minutes from Puerto Villamil, where the trail that leads to the volcano begins.

The walk takes about 5 hours and most of the way is flat, with few ups and downs. Although they give you a box lunch, it is necessary to bring a minimum liter of water because the sun is very strong and reserves water for the return.
